In order to find out whether the objectives of scheme of studies are being adequately achieved, the school follows the scheme of examination and promotion rules which are consistent with the concept of evaluation developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training and Promotion Policy issued by the Directorate of Education. Details are as follows:

  1. For Classes I-III: There will be only three Unit Tests based on the predetermined schedule of 25 marks each. Moreover Continuous Assessments will be carried on the basis of day to day work. Grades will be allotted to the students as per CBSE guidelines.
  2. For Classes IV-X: There will be Two Unit Tests(Formative Assessment I & III) of 20 marks each based on predetermined schedule. Moreover , Two Class assessments( Formative Assessment II & IV) of 20 marks each will comprise of activities , assignments, project work undertaken by the students for ensuring continuous and comprehensive evaluation. At the end of each term Summative I & II will be conducted in the months of September and March respectively as per the guidelines issued by the CBSE and Directorate of Education.
  3. For Classes XI –XII: There will be two unit tests of 20 marks each based on predetermined schedule. Two class assessments of 20 marks each will comprise of class tests, assignments, project work etc. The half yearly and final exams will be conducted for class XI in the months of September and March respectively. While for class XII, a separate schedule comprising Quarterly exams, Micro tests and two Pre boards is followed in order to prepare the students for excellent performance in CBSE board exams.
