Infrastructure

Chemistry Lab
Experimental work is a fundamental part of any science course and this is especially true for the subject of Chemistry.The school Chemistry Laboratory has excellent and latest facilities which provide ample opportunities to do practical work and conduct scientific investigations. The experiments are conducted under vigilance and instructions of the Science teachers and a lab attendant. Well designed laboratory activities contribute more effectively to the overall grasp of Chemistry by the students. The lab inculcates curiosity and inquisitiveness in students. It plays a very important role in developing a scientific temperament in our students.
Physics Lab

Understanding the laws of Physics is to figure out the order that runs the universe. In Physics, the lab is central, integral and sacred. The school Physics laboratory is fully equipped with all the apparatus such as: rheostat, galvanometer, resistors, ammeter, voltmeter,battery eliminator, optical bench etc. . Laboratory activities, designed according to the latest CBSE curriculum, help our students develop love for the subject and profoundly comprehend the concepts of Physics with ease.
Biology Lab

  Our school boasts of a highly equipped and well-stocked biology laboratory. The laboratory provides the students with all sorts of facilities, ranging from preserved specimens and explanatory models of animal and human organs, to high resolution microscopes. The ratio of these microscopes per student is fairly high. We have permanent anatomical slides of plants. There is everything to enhance effective learning by the students. The laboratory is quite spacious and is creatively decorated. We have fire extinguishers in case of an emergency.
Computer Lab

Computers have become an integral part of human life. Education of computer technology is of utmost importance for school students. A well-equipped computer lab is the nerve centre of computer education in the school to keep pace with the fast changing IT scenario.The school has a well equipped computer laboratory with over 30 computers. LCD projectors are used to make the teaching - learning process effective. Under the supervision of highly qualified teachers, our students explore endless avenues of knowledge in the Computer lab. Besides following the Computer syllabus for science and commerce stream as prescribed by the CBSE, students are taught many softwares such as Tux Paint, Scratch, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Word, MS-Excel , MS-Access, Flash apart from programming languages like HTML, C , Python etc as well as networking.
Music & Dance Room

The truest expression of a people is in its dances and its music.” Music and Dance are integral to our existence. They are indispensable elements of cultures across the world. Music develops abstract reasoning necessary for academic success. Dance is the finest medium of self expression and learning social skills. The school encases a well equipped and sprawling Music and Dance room with the best musical instruments. Regular training sessions are conducted to train students in recitals of shabads and gurbanis. Students are introduced to various genres of music and dance.Teachers make sincere efforts to identify their hidden talents in order to help them hone their skills based on their flair and interests.
Library

School has a full- fledged and well-endowed library with a spacious reference and reading area to aid students in their pursuit of knowledge. It has a collection of wonderful and exciting books suited to the needs and tastes of growing children. The library has sections ranging from textbooks, reference books, fiction, general knowledge, books on mythology, music, art and craft , sports, computers, biographies, Encyclopedias etc. The books are carefully graded so as to suit the needs of every age group. The library also offers a larger number of magazines and journals to the students and teachers. The library is well lit, well ventilated and is aesthetically designed to cater favourable and serene conditions for joyful and healthy reading.
Art & Craft Room

Initiation into the realms of Art and Craft nurtures the creative needs of a child. At SGNPS ‘Art and Craft’ is not treated as a subject per se but as a means to indulge students into creative expression and exploration of their latent skills. Art and Craft Exhibitions and competitions are regularly conducted to cater the students, a platform to rein in their creative thoughts and use simple things to create their own masterpieces. A team of highly talented teachers, help students inculcate aesthetics.
Smart Classroom

At SGNPS we very well understand that integration of technology in education is the need of the hour. We can’t imagine achieving educational goals for our students unless technology is adopted in every school system. When the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the world in 2020, schools closed and education of students faced the threat of getting halted. Our efficient teachers were quick enough to safeguard the education of the students and they adopted online education with ease and efficacy. Foreseeing further challenges as well as possibilities, we got our classrooms equipped with smart interactive boards. It has massively facilitated both online and hybrid teaching for our students. Our teachers are regularly trained to use smart boards effortlessly for the benefit of the students. Laboratories constitute an essential element of an educational institution's infrastructure.The composite Sciene lab is where our students learn about sciencein a hands-on environment. The lab houses a variety of equipment used by Primary and Middle School students, combiningelements from all three Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratoriesinto a single room. Students are encouraged to explore a new world of science aroubd them under the guidance and supervision of the Science faculty.The Composite Lab provides students in grades 4 to 8 with facilities and opportunity to conduct experiments and activities in all science courses. the lab is fully equipped with devices required by the curriculum and can handle more than 35 students at once. By adopting the idea of learning by doing, students have an equal chance to develop their scientific abilities and interests.
